Sweet and sour tuna
An Indonesian recipe
- 400 g tuna fillet (cut into small pieces or cubes, rinsed with lime juice.)
For the marinade:
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 1 tsp mushroom bouillon
For the sauce (mix together):
- 6 tbsp tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp chilli sauce
- 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp broth powder
Other ingredients:
- 300 ml boiled water
- 1 tbsp corn flour (dissolved in a little water)
- 1 carrot (cut into matchsticks)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 2 tbsp margarine for sautéing
- Coat the tuna with garlic powder, pepper, and mushroom bouillon. Mix well and marinate for 30 minutes. 2. Fry the tuna pieces until cooked, then remove and arrange them on a plate. You can also lightly dust the tuna cubes in the flour before frying the tuna pieces.
- In a pan, heat the margarine and sauté the onion until fragrant.
- Add the sauce mixture and stir well. Add the carrot and water.
- Cook until the mixture boils and the carrots are tender. Adjust the seasoning as needed.
- Stir in the corn flour solution to thicken the sauce, then pour it over the tuna.
- Your dish is now ready to enjoy!
