Australia’s commonwealth fisheries, like the southern bluefun tuna fishery, are some of the best managed in the world, wrote Gone Fishing columnist Al McGlashan in the Daily Telegraph on Friday 7 September 2018. This is due to the fisheries being regulated in line with international standards and commercial fishermen being careful stewards of the ocean.
